Established in 1976, Blackwood Street Child Centre is a community-based not-for-profit early childhood services provider. Operated by the Mitchelton Community Preschool Association, the centre provides high quality long day childcare and education for children from six weeks to five years old.

We offer an exceptional government-approved kindergarten program with experienced, Bachelor-qualified teachers preparing children for school years and beyond.
